Handling of personal data and cookies

General information

Our customers’ trust is extremely important to us. This trust is based, among other things, on how we handle the information we collect about you as a customer or potential customer and our ability to protect your privacy. We want to describe as clearly and transparently as possible how we collect, store and use the information you provide to us as a result of using our website or services.

Controller of personal data

It is SAFIRAB AB with organization number 556943-0050 (SAFIR, we, our, us) that is responsible for the personal data collected on this website or otherwise. You can contact us via our contact page on this website.

What personal data do we collect?

The data we collect is primarily personal data provided by you when you use our website by submitting information via our contact forms.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is saved on the visitor’s computer when visiting safircommunication.se. We use cookies to give you as a user of our website access to various functions and to collect statistics for our website and user behavior. You can turn off this feature in your browser, which may result in some functionality being limited.

Personal data provided when contacting SAFIR

For example, when you contact us by email or phone or in a face-to-face meeting, depending on the subject matter, we may store information about you that is needed to answer your question or help you with a problem. This may include your name, telephone number, address, e-mail address and the nature of your request. Your personal data may be stored in your capacity as a contact person.

The purposes of our processing

The main purpose of processing your personal data is direct communication to you as a customer and to develop and improve our business and your customer experience. Customer data may be used for marketing purposes by SAFIR or to companies outside the company that SAFIR cooperates with for marketing. Companies that SAFIR cooperates with have their own GDPR-compliant policy in place. This also applies to companies outside the EU/EEA.

The legal basis for our processing

SAFIR may process and retain your data based on legal grounds, e.g. to fulfill our contract with you as a customer.

Who processes – disclosure of personal data

Only our staff have access to the data we store locally in our customer database. Some data is stored with our suppliers or in cloud solutions and means that we transfer personal data to the supplier, in which case the supplier is our personal data assistant who only processes the data on our behalf as agreed with SAFIR.

Retention period of personal data

The storage period of your personal data extends until the purposes of the processing have been fulfilled and is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. Personal data that we save based on the fact that you are our customer or use our services remains as long as you are an active customer with us. The same personal data may be stored with us in several different places for different purposes. For example, newsletters or billing. This means that data removed from one system may remain in another system where it is stored on another legal basis or for another purpose where the personal data is still needed. You can ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Disclosure or modification of personal data

To ensure that privacy laws are not abused by others to your detriment, SAFIR has a responsibility to ensure your identity in contacts relating to your identity. Depending on the nature of the contact, we may therefore require you to provide appropriate proof of your identity.

You who have applied for a job with us

If you have applied for a job with us, you have submitted your contact details (e.g. name, address, e-mail address and telephone number) and possibly other personal information (e.g. picture) in your job application. We process this data to assess your application and suitability for employment, i.e. to be able to take action on your request before a contract is concluded.

Complaints to the supervisory authority

You always have the right to lodge a complaint about our processing of your personal data with the Swedish Data Protection Authority (formerly the Swedish Data Protection Authority). For contact details, see www.imy.se

Changes to the privacy policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version can always be found on our website.
