1 About the Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is based on Safir Communications’ core values, which guide us in everything we do.
The Code of Conduct is based on the Global Compact’s ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
- The Code of Conduct applies to all Safir Communication employees and the Board of Directors, and the content of the Code must be respected and followed.
- The Code of Conduct shall be communicated, respected, and followed by our business partners.
- The Code of Conduct provides an overarching framework, supplemented where necessary with detailed rules and guidelines for individual areas.
1.1 Our core values
Safir Communications’ core values describe who we are as people, what we stand for, how we work, what we can achieve and what we want to be perceived as. We actively work with our core values in all areas of our business.
Professionalism
We have broad experience and deep expertise in our fields, which enables us to meet our clients’ high expectations for insightful and value-creating financial and strategic communication. Our work is characterized by professionalism and our clients’ success is our main driving force.
Integrity
We always start from the client’s needs and work closely with our clients, taking a holistic view of the company. We carry out all assignments with high integrity and a clear focus on quality and value creation. We challenge and question where necessary to ensure we provide the best advice in every situation.

2. Business ethics and business principles
2.1 Laws and regulations
Safir Communication complies with the laws, rules and regulations that apply in the markets where we operate.
2.2 Anti-corruption
Safir Communication always acts responsibly and ethically in business relationships. We do not tolerate any form of corruption, bribery, or extortion. This means, among other things, that:
- We act and make decisions without regard to personal gain for ourselves or our associates. We also do not exploit relationships with business partners for personal gain.
- We avoid situations that may create or give the appearance of creating conflicts of interest.
- We never violate applicable laws on giving or taking bribes.
3 Human rights and working conditions
3.1 Work environment, health, and safety
Safir Communication shall be a safe, inclusive, and secure workplace. We put the health and job satisfaction of our employees at the center.
- We work long-term and systematically to develop the work environment and promote employee health.
- Everyone must be involved in the work environment and follow the workplace rules. Employees take responsibility for their own and others’ work environment. We take care of each other and ourselves.
- The workplace must have adequate equipment and skills to protect people and property.
- We comply with current health and safety legislation and promote a healthy and safe working environment.
3.2 Equal treatment and diversity
The equal value of all people is a given. Everyone should enjoy the same rights and opportunities regardless of gender, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
3.3 Special treatment or discrimination
Safir Communication has zero tolerance for all forms of victimization, bullying and discrimination. All employees and business partners who see or suspect violations are obliged to report them.
3.4 Freedom of association
Safir Communication does not accept restrictions on employees’ right to freedom of association or collective bargaining.
3.5 Wages and employment conditions
Safir Communication shall pay fair wages and benefits to all employees. All employees shall have employment contracts that regulate and establish agreements regarding wages, working hours and other conditions.
4 Environment
Safir Communication works continuously to prevent environmental risks and minimize our impact on the environment and climate.
- Our environmental work is systematic and integrated into our operations.
- We follow and respect laws and other relevant environmental requirements.
- Our employees must have relevant skills based on the impact of their work on the environment.
5 Compliance with policy
Safir Communications’ CEO shall verify compliance with this policy on an ongoing basis. The CEO is responsible for implementing and following up this instruction. 6 Updates and reviews
The Board of Directors shall review and update this policy annually, or as needed based on recommendations from the CEO.
